Fees & Insurance
Individual Therapy
Fee: My fee for a 50-minute session is $250. For certain treatments, I occasionally do 90-minute sessions at a rate of $375. I reserve a portion of my practice for low income/sliding scale clients, with specific preference to veterans, artists, front-line health workers, and those from marginalized backgrounds. I accept all major credit and debit cards, FSA and HSA accounts.
Insurance: I am an out-of network provider for PPO insurance plans. Most PPO plans provide some reimbursement for psychotherapy. You are responsible for determining what mental health benefits your plan covers, and I will provide monthly statements to assist you in the reimbursement process.
Good Faith Estimate: Under the law, health care providers need to give an estimate of the bill for services to patients who don’t have insurance or who are not using insurance.
You have the right to receive a good faith estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency items or services.
Make sure your health care provider gives you a good faith estimate in writing at least one business day before you receive services. You can also ask your health care provider for a good faith estimate before you schedule a service.
If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your good faith estimate, you can dispute the bill. Make sure to save a copy or picture of your good faith estimate.
Consulting
I offer both an hourly, and a project-based fee structure
For hourly, my fee ranges from $200 - $250/hr.
For larger projects/contracts, I will work with you to understand the needs and scope of the work, develop a proposal and time estimate which includes a flat fee for services rendered. For early stage startups, I am also open to equity/cash splits.
Anti-racist Action
As a white, cisgender woman, I am committed to offsetting power imbalances that uphold white supremacy and other oppressive structures. As such, a portion of my monthly income is to the Sogorea Te Land Trust and Black Women Birthing Justice
